Ramsgate<\/strong> is located in a quiet residential area less than 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The school is in an attractive nineteenth century square overlooking public tennis courts and the harbour. The main buildings date from 1814 and although they have been modernised, they still retain their charm. Classes and activities take place across the square in one of our school buildings which houses spacious and modern classrooms. Close to the classes is our Clubroom, with a range of facilities including a self-service restaurant, pool table and in the evenings it is one of the venues for our disco and karaoke nights.<\/p>

Most of our families in Ramsgate host students all year round and we know many of them personally, making them very welcoming to all new students that enter their homes. Students are truly immersed in the family environment, eating with the family seven days a week, attending evening activities from Monday to Friday and staying with their host family\u2019s on Saturday and Sunday evenings. This allows them to get to know the family better and give them an opportunity to improve their conversational skills in a natural environment. Most of our accommodation is within a 15 minute walk from the school and at the end of the evening activities, our staff walk junior students home.<\/p>
